Energy Policy

Wormtech Limited’s operations impact the environment in a number of ways. We are committed to managing these by increasing our positive environmental contribution while reducing negative impacts.

We shall:

• Clearly understand our environmental impacts and where we can influence them
• As a minimum, comply with relevant legislation. Where no regulation exists, we shall set the standards in line with best environmental practice.
• Integrate environmental management into day-to-day operating procedures and communicate effectively with staff to facilitate this.
• Include environmental awareness initiatives in our work with schools
  

We intend reducing environmental impacts by:

• Cutting energy and water consumption
• Cutting fuel consumption
• Our medium term objective is to reduce consumption by 3% by introducing the collection of rainwater and wind turbines and by maximising the efficiency or collection rounds
• Implementing maximum use of communication to reduce contaminants
  

To achieve our objective we will produce and implement an action plan to address the following areas:

• Energy policy
• Communication policy
• Health & Safety policy
• Environmental policy
